Hi Krusers!
Welcome back.

Energy
I prefer tequila with the worm!
5 hour energy
hey guys! Benji here!! :-)
My proposal - lemme know if ya'll agree - is that for double headers we all drink a bottle of "5 Hour Energy." I noticed the game last week lasted about 5 hours and we started all really getting tired around hour number 4.
Whatcha think?
I love dolphins!
Home record
Is it coincidence that our home winning % is 66% and on the road we only win 33% of our ball games?
Lineup
Maybe the coach will use the same lineup we used...your team used for game 1 when we.... you guys won?!
Next week
We have two games against the same team next week. Most of us are anxious at the plate and rusty. We will get better. Hopefully sooner rather than later because its a lot more fun to play when we win.
I will show up at 5:30 next week because the fields will be open so that we can take batting practice and try to work through our problems.
re: why we are losing
Carelessness on basepaths, giving away opportunities to score runs. Possibly people playing out of position (positions players are used to). Injuries limiting position flexibility. Impatience at the plate is probably the biggest one. Not hustling on every play (I am the biggest offender).
Why are we losing????????
Please answer this question without naming names.
How do we improve??????
We should have been knocking the crap out of that ball last night. The pitcher was either throwing meat balls or throwing non-strikes. So either everyone's average should have went up or we should have had double the walks we did have. Do you agree with that?
How do we make less errors????
How do we hit the ball facing an E-league pitcher???
sidebar: Peter, awesome hit last night. Leonard, great pitching. David, great fielding at short stop.
It's an art
There's an art to pitching. It not just lofting a ball into the air. Throw the same pitch all the time, you'll give the field a workout. When it's windy, you have to become one with the wind. A good pitcher also mixes it up with different lofts of said ball.
pitching
I agree. Plain and simple. There shouldn't be any "cherry picking" of weather conditions when asked to pitch.
